Project Description:

• The building encloses the ecosystem for the kiwis to be happy and come out to be seen through glass
• Kiwis only come out at night, so the exterior was designed to reflect the darkness expected inside, it does look different to all the other building in butterfly creek
• It’s quiet and purposely situated around the natural foliage and butterfly creeks train tracks
• One of our favorite commercial jobs as it bring joy to kids and protects one of NZ natives
• We worked through design to consent
